Today at 9151

Photo taken standing on the sidewalk bridge!

The culvert under our driveway. Glad our driveway didn't wash away.

View from the porch. The lower garden is completely covered with water. By noon it was almost back inside the creek banks.

Today's vegetable and fruit harvest! Delicious eating for several days.
What a surprise when we looked out the window this morning!! I heard thunder in the night but missed the heavy rain. It has been many years since our front yard was flooded. Canal Road is closed until a ditch across the road can be repaired. Chose another route when you come over.

We had a very good trip north enjoying Sleeping Bear Dunes and remembering fun there with all of you. Barbara and Brian did such a good job creating race cars of sand around the kids. This time we watched as families climbed up and ran and rolled down. The concert at Interlochen was excellent. Lunch with Jim and Mary Louise Hart after we toured the new Maritime Museum. Very interesting. KFC dinner with Carol and Charlie and home. Love to all--

The green rows are showing up well, June 16, 2011
The corn is well over knee high on the 4th of July. Squash plants to right, tomatoes behind the squash. Strawberry season is over, raspberries and blueberries are doing well.
