David still falls for that as recently as this weekend... except he doesn't realize anything is missing if you only take half his fun-fetti cake -- until he reads this, I suppose :-)
@Steve --"STOLE" is right! That was my FIRST gingerbread man ever and (sniff, sniff) I thought my day was ruined, but Grandma's indignation made me feel much better. Now I stick to fruitcakes for safety.

Kinda seems like when my dad stole the head from Uncle Brian's gingerbread boy.
